Hull's iconic music venues

Hull’s music scene is brought to life by a wide range of venues, from large arenas to much-loved grassroots clubs. The New Adelphi Club is a legendary independent venue that has hosted many artists early in their careers, including Oasis and Green Day. The Welly Club is another long-standing favourite, known for touring bands and popular local club nights. At Polar Bear Music Club, you’ll find free entry gigs every Tuesday, showcasing a mix of local, national and international artists. In the city centre, Social – set inside a former warehouse – is known for its strong line-up of independent music.
