New for 2026 the Spurn Light Ship, which played a key role in Hull’s maritime industries by guiding vessels as they navigated the Humber estuary, reopens to the public after a 14th month restoration. Now berthed in its new home, close to Murdoch's Connection bridge the ship is available to tour.

Getting Here

Getting to Hull is straightforward and stress-free. Regular Hull Trains services run from London King’s Cross to Hull, with journey times under three hours, making it ideal for weekend escapes or longer stays. Northern Rail and TransPennine Express services make travelling from Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and York quick and easy. Once in Hull, the city’s most popular sights – from museums and galleries to the marina and historic Old Town – are all within easy walking distance of Hull Paragon Station.
